1939- Inset (Older model Nova)

The Nova has had quite a few incarnations over the years and this fitting was used for brief period. It is the newer inset style so sits on a routed ledge inside the opening of the cabinet but is smaller than the latest NOVA XL version (1942- 610mm x 330mm approx,) and larger than the earlier versions which were of an insert style (so had a lip around the edge) and could have been either the 1927 or 1929 type. Too find out which yours is try looking at the previous inset/insert that you had for your last machine there should be a 4 digit id number on it or if you don’t have that measure the opening and see which type the measurements correspond with.
